This is not your typical tech blog, because today we are not going to review a fancy gadget or something like that. No, today we are going to talk about the humankind and technology and the most important question: are we going too far?
Technology And Privacy:
Is our privacy at risk with technology? As it seems, it is obvious that yes. Big agencies like the CIA and NSA are monitoring their own citizens on a regular basis. Something that was though to belong to 1984 is now a reality, and that is very worrying.
Moreover, one does not need to belong to the CIA or NSA to spy on other people, because this page named localisation portable gratuit sans autorisation allows people to localize a phone number without authorization.
Therefore, it is accurate to say that technology is risking our privacy, and in order to ensure it, we will have to take the right steps, because we cannot allow it to expose us to the world.
Privacy is an important element for real freedom, because without it, it is impossible for the latter to exist. Therefore… can technology put freedom at risk? Again, the answer is YES.
We are not against technology because it would be stupid, yet, we are critical on how governments and certain groups may use it. Therefore, it is important for the average Joe to be aware of the drawbacks of technological advances, because they come at a cost…
Artificial Intelligence And The Replaceable Human: Are We Near To This Reality?
Even though we may not live to see this happen, it is important to note that AI has been doing great advances and they are getting just more frequent with the pass of the time.
Even the smartest and most pro-technology minds like Elon Musk recognize the latent risk of AI for human beings, because if it develops without control, then it may put us all at risk… especially if a certain group or governments take a hold of it.
We all know the dangers of totalitarism, and unfortunately, that is the route that many western countries are taking despite their “progressive” policies. Therefore, putting this tendency along with AI, may be a very dangerous combination for personal freedom.
Again, we can see that AI is a burden for personal freedom if it is develops without control and consensus. Because when paired with Big Gov, it can be a real threat for human beings.
Moreover, it is also accurate to point out that governments are very interested in this type of technology, because if they can centralize it, then they can use it for more control, which is ultimately bad for the citizen.
We have exposed why technological development, in certain stages, can backfire at human beings. Again, we are not anti-technology, but it is worth noticing that without control it may be counterproductive for the human kind.
